Thanks to CMP Volunteers
Today did not get off to a great start for 1912 at CMP. For our first two matches we could not connect to the field, despite having connected during a practice match earlier. As the controls and drive captain, it was an extremely stressful time for me. However, the FTAs and controls volunteers were absolutely INCREDIBLE. We knew two of the FTAs because they are mentors on 456 Siege (Mr. Eddie Melton and Mr. Chuck Dickerson). Several volunteers went extremely out of their way to help us and I cannot express the immense gratitude we feel to them. After a series of test and changing out things (the whole story is just too sad) we finally connected to the field and starting working great.
Yes this is just another story of why volunteers are awesome. But seriously, I have never dealt with nicer, more supportive or more knowledgeable people. Especially the mentors from 456, it was nice to see you guy's familiar faces so far from home. Everyone's generally helpfulness blew me away and I felt the need to express how thankful I am to them.
