There are companies out there that will fax press releases to local media for you. I don' know the names of any specifically, but I know they are there because we get them all the time. Also FIRST could talk to the Associated Press and they would send out a news message to the media, again I get these all the time here at work. I have mentioned FIRST a couple times to a producer and one of the Sports guys (yes sports) and they said that it sounds good, but also said wy cover a local team if they don't ask us to?
