My favorite part about this is that SpaceX and NASA have gotten way more educational oomph out of this than the Shuttle launches had in a long time. Sure CNN would cover a shuttle launch right as it was happening, and it was always on CSPAN, but people never really looked forward to it.

This Falcon 9 launch and the last one have managed to plaster themselves all over the news. Which is really really cool. I do feel a little for the SpaceX team though, this is a test flight and they have the eyes of a nation on their back.
