I think for FTC you might want bigger better motors at that point. Thats alot of distance to cover with an average of 1-2 fps tops 3-4. and if you made the field bigger I think the robots should also be bigger to accomodate for the sheer fact your adding so much area but this means that game objects can be bigger scoring elements can be bigger and so on so fourth.
