There are several types of these enclosures. In a theatrical type environment you likely would not need a sealed water tight enclosure. A type I enclosure would be fine. This will help to reduce the cost, although they are still expensive. Attached is a data sheet showing some that I like to use. Also attached is a sheet showing the heavier type 12. You can find more on their website. The window is an option.

As mentioned previously Hoffman is the standard. Contact any electrical supply house in your area. They will be happy to help you. The first question would be if they carry Hoffman enclosures. If not then go on to the next vendor.
