I spent a little while last season trying to write a driver for it and had a few problems...
I was able to access the device through DirectX in labview but I had an interesting problem which I described here...

Anyway, accessing the device is possible but you might have to do a little work to extract usable data and then send it to the robot via UDP/TCP
