The problem with most wheel locks is that they can be easily defeated by removing the lug nuts and swapping in an un-locked wheel. Universal keys are also an issue. Anybody who steals a trailer has an entire vehicle that they can fill with security sockets, universal keys, and spare tires. Something like
this and a locking pin would definitely be more secure.
