This is somewhat of a grey area that somebody should probably check with FIRST about. We also left out the gauge last year because of weight (129.7 lbs!), and, like you, the judges made us put it in to check the pressure. I've never understood why, since the Norgren relief valve won't go above 60psi, but that's another topic altogether... However, the judges allowed us to remove it immediately upon seeing that we were indeed set to 60psi. Oh well.
