That's exactly why I wouldn't want 2004 rebooted in 3v3. Teams doing multiple, diverse tasks in the same game was one of the best elements of 2004. I loved seeing the ridiculous ways teams like
71 and
190 figured out how to cap while hanging or the
awesome multi-purpose drive mechanisms. Having more tasks than robots to fill them was what made that game so special.
