You could also say that about quite a few teams who are at their first regional of the year. Friday morning this year 180 and 744 had a match where they only scored 7 points together and they battled for division win this year. It has a lot more to do with everyone working their bugs out and getting the drivers comfortable the only reason why PINK sticks out is because they work out more than everyone else combined

I'm sorry if I made it seem like I was trying to bring pink down. I really wasn't, I was just saying something unique about the regional. I have a lot of good friends on that team and they all know what I'm talking about. They are no less of an amazing team because of it, in fact to me it's so impressive to see how they (seemingly magically) get their bugs fixed.
For my time as a student, 2009-2012, they have been building their robot on thursday and working out the bugs on friday. In 2009, they were a second round pick, but still won the regional. In 2010, they weren't even picked but went to Einstien that year. In 2011, they barely had a chassis put together in the crate, but they were the first pick by saturday afternoon, and won the regional. In 2012, they could barely shoot until elimination rounds, then took first place and then took 2nd in the world. I think it's AMAZING what they do, and if you're looking for a regional, this is one of the reasons this regional is special and a real treat to watch.
Imagine in one match it's a pink chassis flying around the field, and then an hour later there is a minibot system, and four hours later they have a fully functional arm. Then an hour later they have an autonomous routine running perfectly, and next thing you know they win the regional! Some years it's more drastic than other years, but regardless, it's really cool!!!
So come to Orlando!!
