I recently added a refined version of the periodic tasks.vi. This version allows you to select whether you want to filter the RPM values or not. You can tune the filter if you choose to use it.
I also added a selector for enabling the slew rate limiter or not. This will allow the limiter to be by-passed if it is not needed, as with the Victor, IFI Jaguar, or the Talon speed controllers.
Both selectors can be found on the Periodic tasks front panel.
