2012 BAA Education Day in Maryland - Nov. 3

The Baltimore Area Alliance teams will be once again hosting an Education Day, on Sat. Nov. 3.

Thank you to the Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Lab (JHU/APL) STEM Program Management Office for sponsoring this day.

The sessions are open to all students, mentors, parents, administrators and champions from any FRC team in Maryland. Other participants may be welcome if space allows.

Registration is required (detailed information on sessions & parking has been distributed to all FRC teams in MD). The sessions are free, but a $5 donation is required for lunch.

Presenters include FRC mentors, Senior Mentors, and FRC alumni from a variety of teams.

This is always a great learning and networking day.

Sessions include: New to FRC; RoboParents; Year Round FRC systems Planning; Branding and Entrepreneurship; Fundraising; Mentoring Roundtable; Motors 101; Drive Train Systems; Pneumatic Systems; Electricity and Electronics; Electrical Wiring and Systems for FRC; Putting it all Together; Preparing for Competition; Getting Through Inspection; Judging 101; Web Resources for FRC Teams; Website and Video Production; Chairman's Award panel; and sessions on Labview and Autodesk Inventor training.

Email me with inquiries.
