Did you install the the right way. They only work one way. If you look at them they should have curve to the teeth. The concave side should be the one you place against the bearing or what ever. This way when you put pressure on it, it will try and dig into the metal and resist being pushed off. I'll see if I can get a picture of this and post it later.
