Coming from a team that has lost both money and space without notice more than once, space can certainly be harder. (I personally haven't experienced "district facilities are usually available" since Aim High.) I agree with Al and dcarr, take the money when it's offered, and have a backup. The nice thing about money is that it keeps. Don't live hand to mouth, and sponsor drop outs can be dealt with. Take the space too if you can, but understand that it's much harder to have contingency build space ready than it is to keep money in the bank. Many districts are willing to offer space. Many aren't. Check the old threads here for plenty of examples of lost build space and nomadic teams.
