pre-season organization
What greatly helped our team was weekly meetings at school if at all possible, in which everyone could get together and talk about what was going on (ie: fundraising or getting space to work in or whatever). Also, make up a list of things that need to get done BEFORE the season starts, but divide it up amongst reliable members.
A good suggestion is to get an e-mailing list (yahoogroups has a pretty decent one), so everyone can keep in touch other than at the meetings.
Those are a few of the things I can think of off the top of my head, maybe I'll post some more later if I have time. ENJOY AND GOOD LUCK!
