Re: Safety Manual
The safety manual has been released here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...deo-and-manual
How do we implement safety into our team? Read my post here for our training program as well as a few tips for running your own. http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh....php?t=110284&
I'd also suggest looking into these principles if you haven't already.
1) Lock-Out-Tag-Out
2) MSDS
3) Fire Extinguishers
4) Battery Safety
5) Basic First Aid
6) Toyota's 5's principle (my personal favorite because everything in safety boils down to this)
7) Mind's Eye
8) Job Safety Risk Assessment
9) Body fluid spill procedures
10) Robot and battery inspection procedures
11) Right and wrong types of PPE
