It's mostly from the spinning wheel. If a frisbee gets "stuck" for any moment of time from being compressed while touching the wheel it will take a little off.

We started to get a lot of similar questions so I went ahead and
wrote a post to give a bit of a snapshot of where we are at now. We posted a few more videos today on our
