Re: Strategy around point distribution

It all depends on what your team's capabilities are. Let's say that a team shoots for the 3 point goal (because that is basically the same as the 2 point one, just slightly higher and a little more precise) and is a 50% shooter. You shoot for the 1 point goal and are a near 100% shooter. Do you think that you can score quickly enough to score 6 frisbees to every 2 that the other team scores?

To put it another way, you would basically have to be able to score twice as quickly as the other bot to be effective. In addition, the 1 point goal is much more defensible than the 3 or 2 point ones. I don't want to discourage ideas, but it seems quite difficult to me if you went up against a decent shooter to outscore them or even come close by shooting 1 pointers when they go for 3's.
