What clarification on zone contact are you looking for? It does say "A ROBOT has CLIMBED its PYRAMID if it
contacts the PYRAMID and/or the floor (Level 0) in..." [emphasis mine]
Autonomous: Go behind the pyramid (closer to the center of the field, away from your goals).
