Solid Edge

Not sure what you mean. I have V10 and it will let you open a dwg file if it's just a 2d sketch. There is also a way to open a 2d autocad sketch and manually make it 3d, i learned it a few years ago in a solid edge training class (it was pretty cool). If it's a solid model try saving it as a "step" or "iges" file in autocad and then insert it into Solid Edge.
