Is the solenoid breakout wired to 24v power?
It shares the cRIO power connector on the Power Distribution Panel.

It is possible that the solenoid wires are reversed at the breakout.
You can try plugging them in reverse. It won't damage the solenoid to do that.

I think the solenoid might a indicator lights too. Do you see anything there?

You can use a multi-meter on the solenoid output pins to see if you measure any current.
