At regionals, I think everyone is right that it won't happen, but at Championships, especially with the new qualification rules and the chance for finalist teams to go, it's more than likely that a second round pick will be a 30 point hanger, possibly a hanger that can score in the pyramid goal. If you think that is too much to ask for a second pick at the Championship - look at teams like 16 in 2012, 973 in 2011, 3138 in 2010, 971 in 2009... Amazing teams fall through the cracks at the Championship.
That said, the real variable isn't "will a 30 point hanger still be around", but "will the top seeds be 30 point hangers"?
