Re: Frc 2013 driver station problem

Our E09 works fine as a Driver Station.
You just need a little investigation.

You can choose to run the Driver Station/Dashboard under the Developer account instead. Just hide the task bar and use the Window Mode button on the Operation tab to anchor the windows and it'll look just like the Driver account is supposed to.

There are a couple of reasons that the Driver Station might not be able to start the Dashboard automatically for you.
Look on the Setup tab and make sure the Local Dashboard is selected and the Default Dashboard Type is selected.

You can look in the Driver Station initialization file to see what settings are messed up, too.
Look for the Dashboard settings in:
C:\\Users\Public\Public Documents\FRC\FRC DS Data Storage.ini

Out-of-the-box you should see these:
...
DashboardLocal = TRUE
DashboardCmdLine = ""C:\\Program Files\\FRC Dashboard\\Dashboard.exe""
...
DashboardType = 0
