It is rather similar to the 07 frame, they got inspiration from that robot, liking the module idea. They wanted something unique to them, that would look cool to the community, also was designed to work with original ideas for pickup/ shooter. They drafted everything on there own, it is a little bulky, but will work, lessons learned for next time.
