So the tolerance in the manual makes it seem like the lip might be rather large, but on the real field in NH it wasnt that bad:

Granted in that photo the tape was bunched, and very well could be at a regional, so it could still be difficult to drive over if you catch the lip of lexan on it. But I agree, just driving backwards should help with that
