Each year I create the section of belt in the KOP but in fact it should not be placed in the Inventor assembly. Folks complain if I do not model everything!

To place belts or chains in a model use Design Accelerator. I plan on creating a webinar next week on using this. In the meantime I will check around for other tutorials.

What teams do not like is that any CAD model of a belt or chain simulates the shape. The key information such as length, type, power, etc. is all calculated, but folks like to see the belt, not the all important data.
