We have all juniors self-advocate for themselves by sending a short writeup to the mentors who can then decide whom to craft the final essays for (the material in said writeups also makes that easier!) Our self-imposed due date is February 14th, should give us enough time.
We had a winner last year and it was such a thrill for both him and the whole team!
