.A hotel within walking distance is definitely worth it. Parking is a pain and it make sense to be able o get to the arena easily. Remember, there will be FLL teams, FTC teams and FRC team so it is crowded and there is a lot going on.
.Make sure and have a cart for your bot. It is a long way from the pits to fields.
.Going to worlds is not cheap. Event registration was $1,000 last year. So, we drove, but with food, registration, extra parts, some entertainment money, hotel and transportation we raised 10k and used every bit of it.
.Get group tickets one evening and go to the City Museum. Look it up. Our team wants to go back just for that experience.
5. One night our kids went to RoboProm in the Hyatt. Google it, about 1,000 kids were there. They had a riot.
.You will have a 10 x 10 booth. Think how you want to decorate to promote your team.
.Have fun!!! Worlds is an unforgettable experience.
