Where on the Driver Station are you expecting to see these states change?
The
new Dashboard no longer contains indicators for relays or Digital inputs, it seems likely you are looking at an old version of the Dashboard which no longer matches the default robot code (in which case you should install
this DS update and potentially software from this year's NI DVD to get to version 1.29.13.00) or you are looking at the IO tab of the Driver Station which is either used as a virtual input device or used with the Cypress FirstTouch board but doe not reflect the state of Digital IO on the robot.
