Re: How to bring power to the Axis Camera

I don't know if the Axis Camera has it on it, but most devices I've seen on the sticker with the electrical specs (ie. input 5V 600mA etc.) have a picture of the plug and which part is positive and negative. From there, you could use a multimeter to find out which wire is on the outside of the barrel plug, and figure out if it's positive or negative.

This should work, definitely as a starting point. I didn't do my teams so anyone who wants to confirm or deny this method please do.

Edit: This post confirms that the center of the plug should be positive. Sorry for the double answer, I check to see if anyone had responded, and they hadn't. But iambujo did between then and my posting.
