I'm guessing you just looked on Mouser and Digikey and such, because I just Googled "purple seven segment".
For anyone else interested in customizing their voltmeter,
LC LED offers the 3 digit display red, green, orange, blue, yellow, purple, and white. Only trick is that you have to order a "sample" of 10 displays for $29.80. So if you're looking for a more common color, Mouser or Digikey is probably an easier solution.
