I think you might need to do a 'safe mode reset' on the device. On the 8-port cRio I'm familiar with doing this, but on the 4-port I don't have direct experience. I believe to do a safe-mode reset, you either hold down reset for 10 seconds or you power off, hold down the reset, and power on while holding reset for the first 10 seconds of reboot. This might get you to a place where the imaging tool would help. Please also read the following web page carefully and follow these instructions and troubleshooting tips.
