Re: How to connect wirelessly???

And even if that doesn't work, there is information you can use to manually configure the router for practice.

If your router is set up default, it can be found at the IP 192.168.0.50, and the login is what's already there (Admin, empty password). After logging in, you can configure the router to match your team.

Router IP's are always given in a pattern- All of them start with 10, include the team number, and end in a 1. Since I'm on Team 422, my router IP would be 10.4.22.1. Similarly, for team 4029, the router IP would be 10.40.29.1. This IP can be set under LAN Settings on the left-hand side, but make sure your router is set to static IP (Which can be found in the same menu). The other settings required, subnet mask, should be 255.0.0.0. Everything else should be able to be left blank.

CRIO's that have been configured for your team will always request the IP 10.xx.xx.2 (where the x's are your team number), so you'll be able to find the CRIO there if you ever want to manually deploy (Using FTP, some other threads should have this). If you can't find the CRIO but your router's in the right place, you can try re-imaging it using your team number through the FIRST provided software. (PROTIP: Image your CRIO through the router, and not directly. It fails quite often if not imaged that way.)

The Driver Station should also always request the IP 10.xx.xx.9, and this can be changed through a menu (Options, I think?) where it will let you type in your team number.
