Re: Stop Build Day Question Many people have read the official rules again and again

Note that “Stop Build Day” is a specific date, so you may work on your robot until midnight on that date in whatever time zone you are working.

Technically, this means that teams have to stop working at the very beginning of Stop Build Day. Midnight, i.e. 12:00:00 AM, is the very first second of a new day, not the last one. However, others have said and I agree that the common interpretation is that you can work all throughout the day. Some might take this as "rules lawyering", but I hope that FIRST will fix/clarify this at some point, or else teams that read into the rules a little too much might lose a day...
