We have mounted them sideways whenever the layout dictated it. We have used peel and stick velcro to mount them as well. The PWM cable fall out is a real problem but that can be overcome in a variety of ways but most effective is a simple ty wrap of the PWM cable to the power supply wires near the controller. In the event of a failure this gives you the best repair time. Can't wait to see you short bot.
