Still disappointing that it appears at all... especially when to me it looks like that is just tons of beautiful sheet metal fabrication which is relatively cheap (less COTS parts and smarter design reduce cost). I would guess most robots cost more than this one actually.

It doesn't matter how much in total was spent all that matters is how much the value of the components is, and I can say that this robot does not look like over 4k at all to me, especially because it is all custom parts by the look of it which is just material cost (aka cheap).

Also why bring down a great robot if you are worse than it, I feel better if I am worse than a totally amazing robot; calling it anything less than that just simply brings you down and does not do anyone any good. its pointless and self-defeating to focus on how bad the great robots are when you would be better off focusing on what makes your robot good and and aspiring to become great.
