Whoa. 6 weeks!!
I'm filled with emotion from watching the video! 99% inspired and awestricken, and maybe 1% depressed. There are certainly teams (118 clearly included) that are in a league of their own. The CAD, modeling and rapid prototyping to pull off a package like this is a testament to rock solid system engineering practices, planning and a ton of hard work.
Yes teams get to compete side by side, regardless of their experience and resources (there's the inspiring and depressing
). Sometimes I feel like there should be levels for competing, or handicap scores, but that's not the real world [and a well traveled CD topic already...]. In the real world you have to compete regardless of the caliber of your competition or you won't even make it out the door.
So congrats to 118 for blowing my mind, and all the teams out there for working hard and doing the best you can with what you have!
