Sounds bad, have you tried a 30-30-30 reset? I actually soft bricked one of my personal linksys WRT54G and WRT310N routers in the past. My issues was due to loss of power during a firmware upgrade (not to mention a bad firmware in the first place). If you haven't tried it out yet and are desperate the following link my help you out.

Just a thought, this could be a bad idea if FIRST had loaded in a custom firmware, but I'm doubting that.
