I'm almost hesitant to say, because I can't test it right now, but I would assume that to work perfectly fine.
Assuming that works, you could also use this to receive the analog sensor inputs, as well as the digital inputs:
Serin COMA\COMB, INBAUD, [rc_swA,rc_swB,sensor1,sensor2, sensor3,sensor4,sensor5,sensor6,sensor7,sensor8]
