QOS is enabled on the radio when you use the Radio Setup tool. This is to mimic the bandwidth limits and QOS that is in place on the field. If you are having connection issues that are fixed by disabling QOS, this likely indicates that something you are doing is close to or exceeding the 7 MBps bandwidth limit. You should measure your bandwidth usage (see http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...ndwidth-usage).
