A huge congratulations to team 2809 for their first ever Chairman's Award! Having seen what you guys have done over the past five years, it seemed like a no-brainer. Having knocked on the door with a couple EI wins, it was great to see you guys finally get through it. 3710 was holding a fundraiser dinner and as soon as we heard that you guys won the entire room erupted into cheers. We wouldn't be half the team we are without you guys (actually, we might not exist at all!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that 2809 is only the second Canadian team to win Regional Chairman's at an American regional (1547 won Granite State in 2010, I think). What an accomplishment. Kudos to you guys!
