We are deciding the extent to which we are going to rebuild our machine. We had too many bugs in our system to be a reliable player. When the robot works, it works well, but that was only about 1/3 of the time.

We're looking at massive changes to our intake and storage system to eliminate as many of the mechanical failure points as possible and to greatly simplify the programming.

We're also planning to change the way our bumpers mount to make that system something better than the incredibly stupid thing we have in place now. Upon further thought, I realized that our bumpers did nothing to insulate our frame from the force of that collision and, in fact, the corner of the bumper concentrated the load on the frame cross member and probably was what caused it to completely fail.

We love you guys and were really excited to see you had such a great event. Looking forward to seeing it again in two weeks, but maybe this time we'll be there alongside you having a great event of our own.
