Re: Live feed in pit
1086 has used a Verizon USB dongle in the past. It isnt HD quality by the time you get it buffering at a respectable rate, but it makes a huge difference when you want to be able to pull up rankings/match results/live feed in a pit where that is not readily available.
During my Junior year (Breakaway) we were at Champs in Galelio, there was no feed showing in the pits whatsoever and the projector with the rankings was far enough away that nobody wanted to take a five minute hike. We ended up with most of Galelio surrounding our pit in the later matches on Friday!
Doing that is a huge boost for team exposure, granted you can stand the area around your pit being crammed like a sardine can! Also, I am pretty sure venues have been pretty explicit in the past as far as making your own hotspot. As long as you don't create a hotspot you are golden!
