I think that I am the only girl on my team right now that I have seen in the metal shop this year. There are girls on my team that know how to use all of the equipment and everything, but are leaders of the promotions team and web-site and things like that. It all depends on what you are interested in. I have always found the challenge in stepping into a male dominated area and taking charge. Make sure that my male counter parts are in check and that things are getting done and getting done right!! So, to all of you females out there, don't let these guys sit in here and say that all females are good for is PR work....BLAH!! I challenge every FIRST female to step into the build area and ask what needs done and if you don't know how ask someone to teach you!!
