I think there will actually be a lot of stackers.

These stackers will be devided into 2 groups. Those that can stack, and those that can STACK.

Take last year as an example. We had ball bots, then we had ball bots.

There is so much strategy involved this year, there is no way to predict who you will want as an alliance partner. I can see teams saying "if team A picks team B then choose team C, if A choses C then we want D." Your strategy depends on who your up against.

Do you want to win by controlling a modest number of bins, then outstacking the opposition? Do you want to control the ramp? Knock your opponents stack down? Maybe you can choose a really fast partner and have him harrass the other alliances stacker, forcing both your oppoents to their side of the field leaving you free to stack on your side?

AHH THE POSIBILITIES!
