I would love to see the return of holding as many game pieces as you are dumb enough to try. Prior to 2007 this was the norm, but in recent years you've only been allowed to hold unlimited game pieces in 2009. If I think I can score 3 tubes simultaneously, magazine up 45 frisbees, or carry a bunch of foam basketballs, why not let me try?
There was no limit on how many tetras you could carry in 2005, and some teams did multiple (
85's was super cool), but the game was open to both kinds of robot. I guess you just have to have some kind of built in weight (tetra) or volume (ball) limit, but I would love to see some of the huge ball collector nets from 2004 make a comeback.
I get that with some games you've really got to have the limit to make them work well, but I still think it'd be fun to build mechanisms that do a whole bunch at once.
