Is California going to districts next year? Any other regions?

I've been told from multiple sources the Northwest is going to districts next year. I'm very excited about it, our region has grown a lot in the past few years and I'm hoping it'll help push us further and be more competitive. If anyone has more information about it they'd like to share, I'd be interested to know.
