2013 Chesapeake Regional Thanks/Congrats

What a whirlwind of a weekend!! - Team 1708 would like to thank the organizers and volunteers who helped to put on the 2013 Chesapeake Regional. It was a fantastic event in a great venue! Thanks to all the attendees - you created a great atmosphere and kept the energy high. I hope we'll be back again soon.

Congratulations to Chairman's Award winners team 2199 and to Rookie All-Stars team 4541 - we loved seeing you guys get your 30pt climber worked out over the course of the weekend.

A humongous thank you to our alliance captain, team 329. You established yourselves early as the dominant full court shooter at the competition and we were incredibly excited when you picked us. Y'all knew exactly what you wanted and we appreciate that you recognized our potential even at 26th seed. To our alliance mates on team 2638: you guys kept the defense locked down and pulled off some of the best counter-defense I've seen this year. The win wouldn't have been possible without you.

To our friends on teams 365 and 128, thank you for your support over the years. Botcats, our 170-point match was pretty magical. We wish we could have gotten a chance to play with you in elims at one of our regionals, but we still have another competition to go this year, so who knows... MOE, the team really enjoyed meeting up with you guys at a competition again after so many years of hearing stories about you guys. Thanks again to Mr. John Larock for helping to inspire our team earlier this year.

To friends and fellow Pittsburgh team 2641, congratulations on seeding 9th and captaining the 7th alliance at a competition with a pretty deep field. You guys have shown yourselves to be capable competitors the last few years; I see a Championship soon in your future.

Good luck to everyone who qualified for Championships.
