Sounds like it doesn't have the right version of LabVIEW, or no version at all required to run the DS and imaging tool.
After installing the "Driver Station Only" (or whatever it says) thing on the LabVIEW disk that came in the KoP, download and install the
LabVIEW Utilities Update followed by the
Driver Station Update.
