Re: position of components on robot

Per the 2013 rules, the robot, bumpers included, has to fit inside a 54" diameter cylinder during the match. (Starting position is 112" frame perimeter.) Extensions beyond the frame perimeter are not banned, unless they cause the robot to violate the 54" cylinder.

Now, having a shooter be out that far may not be the wisest thing in the world--it'll probably take a bit of a pounding due to the contact--but if a team does that, it's on them to protect it.
